Dr. Daniel Leach MD
Head Physician and Owner

​Dr. Daniel Leach MD is a highly qualified, licensed family physician working with ElevationMD.ca in Sidney, British Columbia Canada. Some of his qualifications include: MBChB. University of Sheffield, MRCGP. Royal Collage of General Practitioners, Diploma in Immediate Medical Care, ERC Instructors Course, GNAAS PHEM Crew Course, PHEM Emergency Surgical Skills Course, GNAAS Prehospital Anesthesia, MOCC, Mersey School of Anaesthesia, ALS, British Sign Language, Level 1. Before re-locating to Canada from the United Kingdom, he was clinical lead for community-based assessment hubs for COVID 19 pandemic in North Cumbria, UK.
Some of his previous work experience includes:

• Acute medical on call and admissions for Oncology and Haematology at the Cumberland Infirmary Carlisle
• Prehospital Emergency Medicine Clinical Fellow at the West Cumberland Infirmary and Great North Air Ambulance Service. EM and PHEM.
• Emergency Medicine at the Countess of Chester Hospital (Trauma Unit).

Before becoming a physician,  some of Dr. Daniel Leach's other exploits include: Royal Air Force, aeronautical engineer specialising in Avionics. Stationed at RAF Leeming, RAF Coningsby, RAF Cosford and RAF Waddington with responsibilities including maintenance, modification and development of Sentry E3-D, Tornado F3 and Towed Radar Decoy (TRD) systems.

Mr. Scott Anthony Monette (BSc)
Director, Founder and Owner

​In 2020 Mr. Monette purchased controlling shares of a large medical center in Sidney, BC. His goal was to improve the delivery of primary care with his experience in healthcare innovation and business model development. In 2020 and 2021, Mr. Monette worked with the current medical director of the clinic and with provincial regulators to establish a novel business model called Annual Continuity of Care Allowance (ACCA) that allowed funds to be allocated to recruiting physicians to help solve the ongoing national physician shortage. This model was so unique that it was even brought up and discussed by our Provincial Health Minister in the legislative assembly. In 2021, Mr. Monette renovated a space in the same building and moved a dispensary into the same building to create a more cohesive health center for patients. In 2022, Mr. Monette was able to implement the following improvements:

• He successfully brought eight new physicians to our clinics despite the ongoing national physician shortage.
• He renovated and opened a second location to house the surplus of physicians brought to our region.
• He trained two new clinical pharmacists to perform medication reviews.

​In 2023, Mr. Monette is spearheading a novel project with Dr. Daniel Leach MD to launch a cancer screening program called Cancer Seeker and ElevationMD.ca using Canadian technologies to prevent cancer, which is an international health problem.
